Following increasing reports of suicides in Pakistan, a roundtable discussion was held on 15th December 2018,
at Meditrina.
The aim was to engage different stakeholders to generate a discussion and formulate recommendations
for a national suicide prevention plan.
This was attended by a group of professionals with diverse backgrounds: Participant profiles
A survivor (mother of son who died by suicide) also attended the discussion and described some of the factors surrounding his death and the consequences faced by the family.
